Astarte is a nutritional supplement specifically designed for women in need of comfort and protection. The product contains 4 strains of live lactic acid bacteria that form colonies. Restores and maintains balance of vaginal and intestinal microflora. In this way the function of the urogenital system is maintained.
The vaginal ecosystem contains mainly lactic acid bacteria (lactobacilli). They maintain their physiological pH (between 3.8 and 4.5) and thus contribute to the proper balance of the ecosystem.
Lactobacilli play a major role in maintaining a healthy balance of the vaginal microflora and in the proper functioning of the urogenital system. There are circumstances in which “good bacteria” may be lacking. This is manifested in the form of unpleasant vaginal discharge, burning, pain and itching. The intestinal tract appears as a reservoir for vaginal lactobacilli. Their oral administration helps maintain normal vaginal microflora and prevents disturbances in the function of the urogenital system.
It is known that in order to maintain the vaginal microflora, lactobacilli need to be from certain strains. Astarte has a balanced, similar physiological composition to vaginal lactobacilli, which, taken orally, helps to restore the vaginal microflora.
Directions for use: Before meals, take 2 capsules a day with a glass of water or other liquid.

* CFU – live cells of colony-forming lactic acid bacteria.
Ingredients: live lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus gasseri LBV150, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LBV96, Lactobacillus jensenii, Lactobacillus crispatus); capsule coating – titanium dioxide, hydroxypropyl-methyl cellulose; fructo-oligosaccharides; anti-caking agents – silica, magnesium stearate; cornstarch.
Does not contain: soy, gluten, lactose or other substances with potentially allergic effect.
